Privacy Policy

Welcome to Teevan Law’s privacy policy.

This policy describes how we collect, use, store, secure, and share your information when you use Teevan Law’s website (the “Services“). Please read this policy carefully so that you fully understand what information we collect and how we use it. By using our Services, you agree to be bound by this privacy policy’s terms, as explained in our Terms of Service, which is located here.

1.     INFORMATION COLLECTED

We collect the following information:

       A. Information You Submit
When you provide information to us, such as by submitting a “Contact Us” form, we collect the submitted information (e.g., your name, email address, and any other information you may submit). We use this information to contact you about our Services, to provide our Services, to provide customer service, and to notify you about company news and promotions.

       B. Log Data
When you use our Services, our servers automatically record certain information (“Log Data“). Log Data includes information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device and application IDs, search terms, and cookie information. We use Log Data to provide, measure, customize, develop, analyze, and improve our Services.

       C. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that we transfer to your computer (including mobile device) to identify that computer and to “remember” things about your visit, such as your preferences, user name, and password. Information in a cookie may be linked to personal information, such as your user ID. We use this information to improve our Services and to tailor recommendations to your interests. You can disable cookies at any time, although you may not be able to access or use certain features of our Services.

       D. Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
We employ, or our third-party tracking utility partner employs, a software technology called clear gifs (or “Web Beacons” or “Web Bugs”) that help us better manage content on our website by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of our users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on webpages and e-mails and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We may associate this information with your IP address or device identifier, but we do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to your personal information.

       E. Third-Party Services
Our Services contain third-party tracking and analytic tools from service providers, such as Google Analytics. These third parties may use cookies, APIs, and SDKs to collect and analyze user information on our behalf. The third parties may have access to information such as your device identifier, MAC address, IMEI, locale, geo-location information, and IP address. Our privacy policy does not cover the use of these tracking tools from third parties. We do not have access or control over these third parties.

2.     USE OF INFORMATION

We do not use your personal information, except as described in this privacy policy. In addition to the uses described throughout this policy, we use the information collected by our Services for the following purposes:
  • To provide our Services to users;
  • To operate, streamline, customize, develop, analyze, and improve our Services;
  • To understand your preferences to enhance your experience with our Services;
  • To respond to your comments and questions and to provide customer service;
  • To provide and deliver products and services you request;
  • To send you information related to our Services, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
  • To communicate with you about promotions, rewards, upcoming events, and other news about products and services offered by Teevan Law and our selected partners;
  • To enable you to communicate with other users;
  • To diagnose or fix technology problems; and
  • To combine your information with other information we get from third parties to help understand your preferences and provide you with better services.

3.     DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We do not share your personal information except as described in this privacy policy. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
  • Your Consent. We may share your information at your direction.
  • Service Providers. We may share your information with third parties that help us provide or improve our Services. These service providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide their services under reasonable confidentiality terms.
  • Law and Harm. We may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request; to protect the safety of any person or entity; to address or investigate fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect Teevan Law’s or a third party’s rights or property.
  • Business Transfers. In the event that Teevan Law is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of related transactions. The promises in this privacy policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.
  • Non-Private or Non-Personal Information. We may share your non-private, aggregated, or non-personal information (such as your public user profile, information, public content, or the number of users who clicked on a particular link) with advertisers, publishers, business partners, sponsors, and other third parties.

4.     OTHER WEBSITES AND SERVICES

Certain links throughout our Services may direct you away from our Services. We are not responsible for, and cannot control, the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements. Once you leave our website or mobile application, you are no longer governed by this privacy policy or our Terms of Service.

5.     SECURITY

Teevan Law takes reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access and against loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. Although we make reasonable, good faith efforts to store the information collected through our Services in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee its absolute security during its transmission or its storage. Further, while we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining access to this information. We do not warrant that your information will be protected against loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6.     OUR POLICY REGARDING CHILDREN’S INFO

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under 13, or knowingly allow children under 13 to use, access, or register for our Services. If you are under 13, please do not send any information about yourself to us. No one under the age of 13 may provide any personal information. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as reasonably possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us via the Contact Form on the “Contact Us” page.

7.     DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

Some web browsers offer a “Do No Track” (“DNT”) signal. A DNT signal is an HTTP header field indicating your preference regarding tracking or cross-site user tracking. We currently do not respond to DNT signals. We also work with third parties that use tracking technologies on our Services in order to provide tailored advertisements on our behalf and on behalf of other advertisers across the Internet. These companies may collect information about your activity on our Services and your interaction with our advertising and other communications, and use this information to determine which ads you see on third-party websites and applications.

8.     UPDATING THIS POLICY

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by posting notice on our website prior to the change becoming effective. As part of your obligation for using our Services, you agree to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.

9.     MODIFYING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire to use our Services, you may change or delete your information by editing your account settings or by contacting us via the Contact Form on the Contact Us page. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

10.     OPTING OUT OF MARKETING

You may opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the instructions in those emails or by contacting us via the Contact Form on the “Contact Us” page. If you opt-out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your account or our ongoing business relations.
